Born in Toronto, Canada, Elizabeth Bertoldi has lived in Ottawa, Montreal, California and Mexico. She has been exhibiting her paintings in solo and group shows in Ontario and Quebec since 2001. In the fall 2009, Elizabeth spent two weeks at Artscape Lodge, on Toronto Island, where she produced her biggest painting so far, "Bird on a Wire," a 5-foot square that never fails to grasp people’s attention and admiration.

The largest juried solo exhibition of her work, "Harmonies", took pace at AOE Arts Council in the Shenkman Arts Centre, from December 2009 to February 2010, with over 20 paintings displayed.  Her paintings have been accepted into juried exhibitions of the former Visual Arts Centre of Orleans, the Ottawa Watercolour Society, Ottawa Mixed Media Artists, the International Society for Experimental Art, and Art Rental & Sales Services of the Ottawa Art Gallery.  In addition, Elizabeth has exhibited in many Ottawa- area gallery-restaurants.

On 30-31 October 2010, she will be participating in Ottawa Art Expo 2010 .at the St. Elias Centre, 750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa.
